Our Community

September 2012

The American Legion is our Nation’s largest Veteran’s organization and is devoted to honoring and supporting our Veterans and Service members.  It sponsors a multitude of programs which are intended to bolster the nation, one community at a time.

The Hudson Legion’s National Security Chairwoman, Sue Melly and Chaplain, Marilyn Smith devote their time and effort to assist Military families.  One of their most meaningful programs is sending expired coupons to overseas Military bases where commissaries accept them up to 6 months past their expiration date.

Daily Dimes™ Associates, Michelle Butler and Amber Williamson, made a special stop at the American Legion located in Hudson, Florida.  Michelle and Amber were delivering a supply of expired Clip & Ship Coupons; approximately $300,000 in savings.

Daily Dimes™ Associate, Michelle, exclaimed; “Sharing a photograph with these two remarkable women was an honor but sharing this occasion, the first of many coupon donations, makes today a memorable experience.”
